Guilt
“All the guilt is lazy energy, it doesn’t change the past and it doesn’t shape the future. It’s a waste and we got no time to waste. We gotta live.”
This was such a profound statement that spoke to me from a dialogue in the 2019 movie When They See Us (If you’ve not watched it, you should)
However, guilt is not as harmless as it’s made out to be in this statement because if it’s not dealt with, it has the capacity of robbing us of the future. Make peace with whatever you have done and move on because really, we gotta live.
