Title: God’s Purpose in Election
Passage: Romans 9:14–29

Is God unjust in choosing some and not others?
Paul raises this very question in Romans 9:14–29 and answers with a resounding “no.” God’s election is not based on human effort or will, but on His mercy. Just as He showed compassion to Israel and raised up Pharaoh to display His power, God’s purposes in salvation reveal His glory.
The gospel declares that in Christ, God’s mercy triumphs over judgment—He has prepared vessels of mercy from every nation to share in the riches of His grace. Jesus Himself bore God’s wrath so that all who trust in Him might be brought into God’s people.
Join us as Robin Vonk unpacks how God’s sovereign choice magnifies His mercy and assures us that our salvation rests not on us, but on Him who calls.
