Why did Israel, with all their zeal for God’s law, stumble while Gentiles found righteousness? In Romans 9:30–10:13, Paul shows that salvation does not come through human effort or rule-keeping but through faith in Jesus Christ. The gospel proclaims that Christ is the end of the law—He fulfilled it perfectly, died in our place, and rose again so that everyone who believes in Him will be saved. Righteousness is not something we achieve but something we receive by trusting in Christ. This is the good news: whether Jew or Gentile, rich or poor, near or far—everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
