Jamie’s experience is unique to most of the Breast Implant Illness stories however I felt it needs to be told because it’s a cautionary tale to those women who are considering breast implants after a mastectomy and the risks that aren’t frequently spoken about. In this candid interview Jamie courageously retells her battle with cancer, her decision to go FLAT and her fight to stay alive after undergoing the procedures for spacers that prepare the body for implants. Her will to survive is astounding, but her resolve to THRIVE is what I am most in awe of. She is a shining example of living in your truth, owning your body, and making no apologies for it!
