On the morning of Wednesday, 6 April 1966, students and a teacher from Westall High School, near Melbourne in Australia, reported seeing a UFO. The object flew over the school, and then reappeared some 20 minutes later being pursued by five unidentified aircraft. The teacher and students maintain their story to this day, but could it have been something mundane like a weather balloon, as sceptics insist? And if so, why was the school flooded with military personnel telling everyone that they ‘hadn’t seen anything’?
