Talking points: men's mental health, vulnerability, surrender, poetry, metaphor
Welcome to Episode 7 of the Alchemy Brothers Podcast. Today, I am joined in conversation with Tim Rowe. Following his participation in our recent Initiation retreat, Tim and I follow his journey through mental health challenges and a discovery of emotional expression and vulnerability through poetry.
Advisory Note: in this discussion, we explore the subject of suicidal ideation. Please consider this if you have a sensitivity to this subject and be kind with yourself.

Tim Rowe (The Wild Wolf): www.instagram.com/the_wildwolf ... About Tim:
Tim was originally a qualified accountant, had a very successful 21 year career but hit the point of suicidal thoughts 11 years ago. He went through a 7 year journey battling through life and burnouts, until after the first COVID lockdown he stepped out of his career and took 2 years to heal himself.
The period that followed was a deep dive into self. His healing journey unfolded through the use of language and in particular, poetry as a form of expression and vulnerability. The Wolf Wolf began as a pseudonym for his writings, but after seeing the impact his words had on the healing of others, he felt called to share more of his own story and skills.
Tim created a unique psychotherapy and coaching model, through which in the pilot phase, Tim supported over 70 people 1-2-1 in 18 months, and navigated 6 people away from suicide. Tim is now in a process of refining and implementing these models to address issues he sees in the industry.
