Roadside Memorial blends melodic hardcore with ska, reggae, and Oi punk, creating a unique sound inspired by New York-style hardcore and early 80s LA/OC melodies. Guitarist Brandon brings diverse influences, while vocalist adapts delivery for emphasis. Bassist provides heavy rhythm, and drummer Matt, with metal background, lays down solid foundation. The band draws inspiration from Motown, Philly Soul, The Ramones, Black Flag, British Oi bands, The Adolescents, and Bad Brains. They feature The Brasstronauts brass section, led by sax player Jessica Mills, adding complexity. Their new vinyl, La Bajada, is released on November 22nd at Flock of Moons, produced by Augustine Ortiz and released through Grazil Records.
