In recent years, the word “woke” has taken on powerful cultural and political meanings. What started as awareness of social injustice has now grown into a broader movement—one that both uplifts and, at times, divides. But how should believers respond?
In this episode, I explore the idea of Wokeism—its definitions, evolution, and how it impacts our world today. I take a closer look at social justice, discrimination, and how true biblical compassion calls us to care for the marginalized—while also holding fast to moral truth.
While advocating for justice and equality is deeply important, it's also essential that we examine how and why we do it. Many social causes that began with noble intentions have, over time, been politicized or pushed to extremes—sometimes prioritizing ideology over genuine compassion for the people affected.
This episode challenges us to think critically about the movements we support and the values we promote. Are we truly helping the marginalized, or just echoing cultural trends? Are we seeking lasting change, or getting caught up in performative activism?
Let’s talk about how advocacy can be both principled and compassionate, without losing sight of the individuals at the heart of these issues
