The podcast will explore how students engage with these tools from multiple personal and discipline perspectives and touches on themes like neurodiversity, Universal Design for Learning, authentic assessment, and day-to-day student pressures. In this episode, David and Angélica chat with Sian Fahy a Business Studies student majoring in Marketing. Sian has worked as a co-op student in the Universal Design for Learning UDL in the Centre for Transformative Learning at the University of Limerick.


Sian assisted in the design and implementation of UDL principles. She also has experience with collaborating with teachers to create inclusive learning environments while also conducting research on UDL best practice principles.


Sian is passinate on breaking down barriers that help prevent learners from learning.


The conversation focuses on the Gen AI resources that are used to help students and what the University is doing in the area of Gen AI and the impact it may have on education.


Sian describes the tools that she uses and how she uses them.
