
You may have heard that as people who have had the chicken pox age, they are more susceptible to getting shingles which is basically the reemergence of chickenpox at a later date. The virus stays in your body forever once you have it. And shingles can be quite painful. Should you get the shingles vaccine?
Before you make that decision you should of course consult your physician, but you should also listen to this short podcast explaining what it is and what other viruses it is closely related to - bet you don't know what virus family shingles is in. Hint: Think cold sores...
