Understanding, Developing, and Implementing Additional Services

Aged care funding is getting tighter. There's increased transparency in competition due to the My Aged Care website and most organisations' increased online presence. So organisations are looking for ways to differentiate themselves AND improve their sustainability.

Offering additional services seems to be one of the answers.

What does a good additional services program look like?

In this episode we're joined by James Saunders as we cover:

  • What is the difference between additional services and extra services?
  • The starting point if an organisation is considering implementing additional services
  • Tips for getting staff on board
  • What types of additional services programs don't seem to be successful
  • The opt-in vs. opt-out situation that's driving a review of additional services

James has a background as a registered nurse, and spent more than 10 years in Director of Nursing roles. He worked as an advisor for Leading Aged Services Australia (LASA), and was the CEO of a large aged care organisation (Cook Care). Now, he's the Senior Manager - Operations for Pride Living.

You can find James at https://prideliving.com.au... and you can find out more about understanding, developing, and implementing additional service offerings here: https://prideliving.com.au/services/operational-management/#1535684960354-94897caf-90a5
