In this episode of the podcast, we'll be diving into the inspiring journey of DJ Heat, an amazing woman who started her career as the ball girl for her favorite basketball team and went on to become the official DJ of the same team.
From interning at radio station WPGC in DC and a graduate of an HBCU, DJ Heat became a well-known figure in the industry, playing music for some of the biggest events and parties. She also became the official DJ for the Washington Mystics basketball team, and later the Washington Wizards. Along the way, she has had the privilege of performing for some of the biggest artists and events such as the BET Awards and the Super Bowl.
She even shared how she's handling Endometriosis in the worst way and still having to DJ globally all while in pain!
Despite all her achievements, DJ Heat remains humble and grounded, always striving to improve and reach new heights.
