Whether at home or abroad, the social, political, and economic aspects of our homeland generally go untouched by the next generation of Africans across the globe. Hosted by yours truly, Christina Uwana, I hope to encourage us to get comfortable with these seemingly uncomfortable conversations. Join me as we mix a little banter with real-life issues and potential solutions that we face as a continent. New episodes are available once a week, and with them, I implore you all to give me your thoughts, opinions, arguments, and critique. Stay tuned!!

Going Back Home to Practice Medicine ft. Dr. Oni (part 1)

Hello everyone! After returning from my break to focus on school, I can’t thank you enough for sticking with me. I’m excited to present this episode with one of the doctors I’ve admired for a while now: Dr. Julius Kunle Oni. Dr. Oni’s efforts have often gone unnoticed, as he made the brave decision to leave his work in the U.S. and become a full-time orthopedic surgeon in Nigeria. Join us as we dive into his story, his advice, and discuss some of the things that might be holding the rest of us back. This will be the first episode out of two, so stay tuned for the second part next Friday.
