How are you: the art of showing concern - Africa's Entrepreneurs Assembly |EP9

As common as this question is, the honest answer to the question is not common.

Many hide under the response of "I'm fine" even when a lot of things are not fine. Also, not everyone truly asks this question or make this form of compliment with sincerity as if they are truly concerned. 

The origin of "how are you?" was not a compliment, it was a genuine question of concern from someone who showed empathy for another.
