Growing up we were taught to say thank you when given something or something good done for us. Most especially, we were taught to always say a “THANK YOU “ prayer when you wake up to acknowledge that it’s God who’s made it possible for you to be awake.
A few days ago after watching a discussion on BETTER TOGETHER, Pastor Holly Furtick said something that resonated with me. She talked about how she’d wake up in the morning and after a short“thank you” prayer , she couldn’t help but start complaining about the other things that she felt were going wrong around her and the impact that her complaining had on her? Have you ever found yourself in that situation? What does ingratitude do to us?
