My guest is Israeli conductor Ilan Volkov. He is the founder and artistic director of Tectonics festival. He also serves as curator and principal conductor of the festival. Volkov is very active in the new music scene and has premiered many contemporary orchestral works around the world. We spend some time talking about his current projects, including tectonics festival, the current political situation, and the state of the arts.
