An album originally aimed at beating the Beatles’ Rubber Soul, and their inspiring Sergeant Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band album, it has since taken its place as one of the greatest and most influential Albums in music history by a band that was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988. That band is the Beach Boys, and the album is Pet Sounds.
