Healthy relationships with your projects and the harsh truth of letting go - Johanna Holtan.
Johanna Holtan Ebb and flow, failure and success. This is a story of achievements and heartbreak in believing in your choices and going for it through the good and bad until it's time to let it go. Johanna Holtan is a force of nature; a life of excellence and hard work, a real inspiration. "Your work is only as strong as your heart" she says in one of her Medium articles and hers is made of resilience and love. Work ethic, dedication and passion; it's all personal for Jo and I relate to that. Starting from her Penny in Yo Pants venture moving onto her experience as an All-American Volleyball player at Juniata College to the Peace Corps we touch on the ups and downs and the difficulties of letting go. Jo is now Director at the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program where she "gets to spend everyday working with young people from Africa who are firestarters to the core". The scholarship is based on the idea of transformative leadership and how values, beliefs, and principles can enable participants to make a positive impact on their communities. <3
