First Day Of School Tips That I Wish Someone Had Told Me When I First Started Teaching

I remember my very first lesson with a group of 6 yr olds. I had been teaching ESL for a while but had never taught it to children. My boss had said, "You're young, cute, sweet… you take that class." but in no way prepared me for the experience. Teaching a bunch of little kids a language they've never heard before can be pretty scary. In this video I'll tell you what you really need to know before you even set foot in that class.
