Adoption is one of the most rewarding journeys a person or family can take — but across the UK, and especially in our local authority areas, fewer people are coming forward to adopt.
Why? We believe that it is often, it’s down to outdated beliefs, myths, or people ruling themselves out before they’ve even made an enquiry.
Our latest campaign, “You’re more ready than you think!”, aims to challenge those assumptions and show that adopters come from all walks of life — whether you're single, renting, LGBTQ+, or living with a health condition. What matters most is your ability to offer love, stability and care.
