Charlotte Dune is a fiction and non-fiction writer based in South Florida. She is the author of Cactus Friends: A Psychedelic Love Story and Mushroom Honeymoon. Her writing explores self-discovery, love, healing from trauma, addiction, and exotic locations. She has a passion for travel, reading, nature, and entheogenic practices. An additional memoir, titled Kampala Sunsets, about Dune’s experience marrying into a wealthy Ugandan family in her twenties, is currently under publisher review.
Her non-fiction writing has also appeared online and in print magazines, including in POV Magazine and in The Temper.
Prior to writing her first novel, Charlotte Dune worked as a film producer and editor. She also worked for the U.S. Department of State Foreign Service in Uganda, Cameroon, South Africa, Canada, and in Washington D.C.
