Her innovative work led to high-profile collaborations, Vimeo Staff Pick honors, and a string of celebrated commercials championing equality and craft, including Absolut’s Equal Love, which won D&AD’s Graphite Pencil for Best Direction and solidified her reputation as one of the most visionary directors of her generation. In the commercial world, Aoife continues to redefine cinematic storytelling. Her Apple spot Capture and Squarespace’s Super Bowl campaign The Singularity—starring Adam Driver—swept major awards including Cannes Lions, D&AD, AICP, and an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Commercial. On television, Aoife directed episodes of Severance (Apple TV+), the critically acclaimed series starring Adam Scott, Patricia Arquette, and Christopher Walken, earning 14 Emmy nominations and a DGA nod for Outstanding Directorial Achievement.
