আমরা আশা করি, আমাদের আলোচনাটি পুরনো সমস্যা গুলিকে সমাধান করার পরিবর্তে বরঞ্চ "জাতীয় শিল্প প্রদর্শনীটি কোন ধরনের প্রদর্শনী হওয়া উচিত?", "কিভাবে দেশ এবং বিশ্বকে নতুন দৃষ্টি ভঙ্গিতে প্রদর্শন করা যায়?" এর উপরেই হচ্ছে।
দুর্ভাগ্যবশত, আমরা এখনো মৌলিক অবকাঠামোর অভাবের সাথেই লড়াই করছি। ২৪ তম জাতীয় শিল্প প্রদর্শনীর প্রস্তুতি এবং অনুষ্ঠিত হওয়ার সময় গ্যালারীর অনেকগুলি স্থানে পানি জমে ছিলো। কিন্তু, এটি ( শিল্পকলা একাডেমী) শিল্পীদের জন্য এই দেশে অনেক অল্প সম্পদের একটি।
বাংলাদেশে জাতীয় গ্যালারি কেমন হওয়া উচিৎ?
যদি একটি জাতীয় গ্যালারীর স্থান শিল্পীদের চাহিদা এবং শিল্পের চাহিদা পূরণ করতে ব্যার্থ হয়, তাহলে আমরা কেন সমসাময়িক শিল্পের জন্য বিশেষায়িত আরেকটি স্থান/গ্যালারীর জন্য অনুরোধ করছি না?

How do art and artists develop publicly in a developing country?
The vital conversation made by Fahim Hasin Sahan (architect), Sheikh Hassan (curatorial assistant), Snighdha Sultana (volunteer/Pathshala student), Muntasir Ovi( volunteer/Pathshala student), and Zihan Karim (curator) discussing the issues over a curatorial exhibition "Museum of Intensity". It could be seen as a representation of the art labor's condition in Bangladesh.
We hope the conversation we are having is, "What kind of exhibition should the National Art Exhibition be?", "How to provide new perspectives to the country and the world?", rather than still solving old problems.
Unfortunately, we are still fighting with the lack of basic infrastructures. Many pools appeared inside the Bangladesh National Gallery while the 24th National Art Exhibition was preparing and taking place. It's one of the very few resources in this country for artists.
What a National Gallery in Bangladesh should be?
If a national gallery space failed to fulfill the needs of artists and the needs of the art now, why don't we request another space/gallery specialized for contemporary art?
