Bay Burdett is an entrepreneur who started Bay’s Kitchen, a low fodmap, gluten free, dairy free and vegan sauce, soup and gravy brand! After being diagnosed with IBS and following a low-FODMAP diet, Bay recognized the lack of ready-made sauces that were suitable to her new diet, and launched her brand after a couple years of recipe testing. The brand is award winning and is now stocked in hundreds of supermarkets across a few countries!

In this episode, Bay explains her ‘aha’ entrepreneurial moment and the challenging yet lucky start her company had in their first two years. Tamir and Bay discuss the difficulty of getting prepared foods into supermarket shelves and how the recognition of the low-FODMAP diet will promote even more stores to carry suitable products. Bay also shares why it is her mission to remove the stigma behind IBS.
