Welcome to the Accelerate podcast, hosted by the Daniels College of Business Executive Education division at the University of Denver in Colorado.
In this episode, we welcome Executive Education faculty member Amy Phillips who has taught in the Daniels College of Business for more than 20 years. Amy is an expert on why data matters and what we should do with it, and she is highly regarded for her book, Business-Driven Information Systems. A dynamic and passionate instructor, she receives rave reviews from an Executive Education workshop she teaches called Data Visualization Using Power BI.
Amy joined the Accelerate Webinar Series near the beginning of the pandemic in April 2020. She provided a fascinating introduction to the importance of data visualization using widely available COVID-19 data from John Hopkins University.
