On this episode, Bruce talks with Dr. James Svara from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. Dr. Svara discusses his stumble into public administration and the importance of planning your future career. He also discusses engaged research and connecting with the community of practice in choosing research questions and collecting data and the importance of giving back to that community, as well as the importance of ethics to public administration and the incorporation of ethics into the MPA curriculum.
