#51 Farjana on "Being Your Own Person, Modelling & Creative Pursuits & South Asian Parenting Norms"

#51 Farjana - South Asian Culture/Community Episode In this episode I had a wonderful conversation with Farjana. Farjana is a South Asian Entrepreneur and Creative / Artist working as a Tech Recruiter pursuing masters in cybersecurity. She has an entrepreneurial spirit with multiple businesses and a nonprofit for south asian communities supporting mental health and bringing awareness of stories from  women's trauma and independence in our culture / community. Born and raised in Atlanta, Ga. Her parents are Bangladeshi and Farjana as a digital nomad in between ATL and NYC and sometimes Cali shares with me experiences of being South Asian American. Our conversation went into deep as well as uncomfortable areas of parenting, generational differences, problems faced by South Asian women. I enjoyed my conversation with Farjana a lot, and I hope you do too :) . Welcome to A Very South Asian Podcast!
