#49 Tanshi . Tanshi is a Delhi-based queer handpoke tattoo artist. Tanshi is a young artist who is creating beautiful tattoos using the handpoke technique, which in my basic understanding is almost like an analog way doing tattoo as opposed to doing it with a machine. They are less invasive, less painful, and “less intimidating” than a machine-done tattoo. The designs are original and unique. Tanshi is known for quirky flash designs which are hand poked. I was able to talk about great topics ranging from handpoke tattooing to life in general to perspectives of being a queer artist working in urban India. I hope I was able to provide a meaningful conversation. I enjoyed my chat with Tanshi, hope you enjoy it too. . Welcome to A Very South Asian Podcast!
