Marilyn Schlitz: Love Study | ASMAL ep.90

After numerous scientific articles and books, author Marilyn Schlitz joins us today to talk about her first novel, Love Study. The novel is based partly on her experiences over twenty years at the Institute of Noetic Sciences, where she is President Emeritus and a Senior Fellow.

Marilyn explains why she shifted from scientific non-fiction writing to telling a story that mixes truth with fiction in a novel. She describes the original studies the team conducted at IONS, the statistics of the Marriage effect, and what they discovered about love.

The lead character's relationships and unexpected challenges reflect some of Marilyn's own experiences in her personal life and career.
