There are films made everyday, that make us laugh, fall in love and take us on a fantasy ride. They act as an escapism from our daily life. Then there are those story tellers who use cinema as a mirror for society to hopefully reflect on what they see, we contemplate, we start dialogues and we act upon it, in an attempt to correct the wrong we have done.
Many mainstream film studios will stay awa from such cinema and so will the stars of that industries. BUT, real actors and technicians who are connected to their human selves come together, regardless of commercial gains and stand up for the voice of a world that tends to ignore such issues.
It is said, that if you are not part of the answer then you remain a part of the problem. As disgusting as it sounds, it is a reality that happens across classes, cultures and countries. We MUST address this to STOP it
