A wise man once said "A Perfect Mess Podcast is like a box of chocolates... you never know what you are going to get"
On this episode, we talk about something that can be really sensitive to some people. We discuss and try to bring awareness to Mental Health. We ask that you keep in mind that this episode is based on personal experiences and personal opinions not facts. Jess and Oscar both share personal experiences where they have been insensitive to people who were suffering from Mental illness and now finding themselves dealing with it personally. All though Jess’s experience has really opened her eyes to other people who suffer from this, Oscar still struggles to fully understand other people as he slowly starts to understand that he might be struggling with the same himself.
One thing that A perfect mess podcast family want to address is that, this is a serious issue going on in todays society that is very much frowned upon or not discussed enough. If you or anyone you know is going through mental health issues and feel like you don't have anyone to talk to due to fear of being judged or not wanting people close to you to know what you are going through, feel free to reach out to us. We will never judge you or make you feel bad about what you are going through. Whatever you decide to share with us will always remain private, unless you give us permission to share with others.
