John 15 teaches us that we need to be connected to the vine and if we are not connected then we cannot bear fruit. So many times we invite God into our own plans and just ask him to be part of what we already have going on. But whqt we should do is learn to pick up our cross, dies to ourselves and then allow God to bear the fruit which is His will in our lives.
