Supporting the Mental Health of Our Children with Viktoriya Magid Ph.D.
In this episode, "A Look Within" host, David Diana, speaks with Dr. Viktoriya Magid on the topic of childhood mental health and the many ways caregivers may offer support and guidance.
Dr. Magid is a licensed clinical psychologist and psychotherapist specializing in the treatment of anxiety, depression, and substance abuse for children, adolescents, couples, and families. Dr. Magid served as an Assistant Professor at the medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) for eight years and was the founding director of the Adolescent Substance Use Prevention and Treatment Program. She is currently in private practice where she has a passion for working with parents/caregivers on how they may help support the mental health of their children.
