They do talk some anthropology concerning the effects of tattoos on the body and the experience itself, and also how Boromir applies to anthropology. The last two-thirds of the show, David discusses the history of rice cultivation, with a focus on the Southeastern Coast of the United States and the West Coast of Africa. This is a very heavy topic and they do their best to talk about the anthropology of rice, the African diaspora and the modern day implications and expressions of this history.
