A state of unawareness with the brain adaptive while the rest of the body and consciousness is not.

Another parable He put forth to them, saying: "The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; [25] but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. Prayer : I will always return to God no matter what, in Jesus name, Amen!
Meaning - Expectation / ambition / desire / aspiration
It is in the nature of mankind to always look forward to something in life.
Hebrew meaning - tikvah : A confident expectation of a better future, grounded in faith.
1. A secret to hope is having total trust with full conviction in what you’re looking forward to.

2. Trust is a friend of hope

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.
3. Hope does not have to make sense

Sunday 14/09/2025 - The Fundamentals of the Gospel : Part 2 - The word of God
Proverbs 30:5 NKJV
“Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.”
Prayer : Lord I pray that my view of your word remains unchanged in Jesus name.
You cannot stop speaking about who or what you love.
There is joy in sharing what you know and have.
Acts 4:19-20 NKJV
But Peter and John answered and said to them, "Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge. [20] For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard."
In life, those who have a proven track record are listened to (verbally and/or written).
This is why we buy books or listen to any audio resources of such individuals.
Romans 10:17 AMP
So faith comes from hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the [preaching of the] message concerning Christ.
NKJV
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
The word of God provides a blueprint of the outcome of listening and trusting God.
Note that Jesus Christ never spoke about Himself, instead He took every opportunity to speak about His father.
John 1:1-5 NKJV
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.”
The reality is that we are all spirit beings. As such there are spiritual challenges and battles that we engage in daily.
Which simply means it takes spiritual ability and awareness to overcome in the spirit.

“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;”
Having weapon and not using it is as good as not having it at all.

Isaiah 1:19 NKJV
“If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land;”
Prayer: Dear God, today I choose to be willing and obedient to your word in Jesus name, Amen .
These are first principles / basics. In any field, fundamentals ( building blocks) are necessary to set the foundation of concepts to be used.
Gospel - teaching or revelation of Christ
Romans 10:8-10 NKJV
[8] “But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): [9] that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. [10] For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
Our lack of faith surprises Jesus Christ

Power of faith

Danger of not having faith in a believers life

Sunday 31 August 2025 - Change is now
Romans 10:8 NKJV
But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith which we preach):
Prayer : Father help me that I may remain in the word if God, Amen!
We act like opportunity to change will always be there.
Take advantage of now and change.
Later is not guaranteed and the fact is that no one knows the time table of God.

"Then he said, 'I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father's house, [28] for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.' [29] Abraham said to him, 'They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.' [30] And he said, 'No, father Abraham; but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.' In life what is needed is help.
Unfortunately pride has, is, and continues to be one of the biggest challenges we have as human beings that is standing between us and our results/answers/solution/breakthrough.

And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever-
Christ revealed this to His disciples and therefore we have revelation that we need help.
Acts 8:30-31 NKJV
“So Philip ran to him, and heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?” And he said, “How can I, unless someone guides me?” And he asked Philip to come up and sit with him.”
Help is available and simply requires us to voice it out.
When we do not speak, others might perceive it to mean that we’re okay and need no help.

Sunday 17 August 2025 - The Father’s authority
Proverbs 2:1-6 NIV
“My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding— indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.”
Prayer : Lord help me to obey you in the name of Jesus Christ. Life is about following and adhering to principles. When you do, you will discover treasures and find happiness.
Authority - power or right to give orders, make decisions, and enforce obedience.
Greek word for authority is “exousia” - which signifies the power to command, the right to control, or the ability to make things happen.
Acts 1:6-8 NKJV
Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, "Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?" [7] And He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. [8] But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."
As Christian’s, we have the tendency of always wanting to know the “WHW (why, how, and when).

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.”
Prayer: Thank you Lord Jesus that you are with me always.

“A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world. So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.”
Pain, anger, failure, disappointment, and fear can cause us to forget who we are in Christ Jesus.

“Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”
Once you’re reminded of who are, you then step up on your confidence and speak out.

[2] But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. [3] To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. [4] And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. [5] Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers."

Prayer : Lord help me to be in line with your purpose for my life and to obey you in the name of Jesus Christ.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;”
As people we trust; others, buildings we dwell in, vehicles we drive, people to drive us, airplanes, pilots, captains, boats and ships, clothes to cover you from your nakedness, food we buy to be free of poison or harm, advise or reports from medical doctors, banking systems, governments to lead, etc.
Hebrew word is ‘batach’, which is a verb and implies a strong sense of confidence, reliance, and security.
Hebrew word for understanding is “tevunah”, which is insight, or discernment. Ability to grasp and analyze information, then apply the knowledge to situations.
Psalm 37:1-5 NLT
Don't worry about the wicked or envy those who do wrong. [2] For like grass, they soon fade away. Like spring flowers, they soon wither. [3] Trust in the LORD and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. [4] Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart's desires. [5] Commit everything you do to the LORD. Trust him, and he will help you.
Trust God with your situation
Trust God to come through.

Opening - This is a space or gap that allows passage or access
The reality of life is that most things that happen is a result of our involvement.
An honest and complete self introspection about our lives will reveal this.
This explains the reason why speaking to a professional (psychologist or therapist) results in people confirming that they feel better. It is simply the process of addressing the things (issues) that have been either suppressed or hidden for so long.

Sunday 08 June 2025 - Watch and pray
I Peter 5:8-10 NKJV
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.”
Prayer : Father help me that I may be ready for whatever comes my way in Jesus name.
Watch - Observe / examine / scrutinize
Pray - stay in contact with God with your voice
We have many believers today who are pretty decent in prayer, but beyond that pay little to no attention to understand what is going on around them.
I believe Christ was intentional when He said ‘’watch”.
It is important for a believer to take note of what is happening in the spirit as well as around them.
Luke 21:36 NKJV
Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man."
Most believers are good at warfare and yet lay little to attention to what is going on around them.
Understand that life events are not coincidences.
One way or another, there is a cause and/or reason.
Matthew 26:40-41 NKJV
Then He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, "What! Could you not watch with Me one hour? [41] Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak."
How do you tell that something is wrong if you cannot pay attention?
You need to be alert to realize that there is a temptation around.
Acts 13:4-11 NKJV
So, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia, and from there they sailed to Cyprus. [5] And when they arrived in Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews. They also had John as their assistant. ‘’Keep - Hold on to’’
Luke 15:17 NKJV
“But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!”
Prayer: Father I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, that may you allow the Holy Spirit to help me remember what I have, Amen!
Luke 11:27-28 NKJV
And it happened, as He spoke these things, that a certain woman from the crowd raised her voice and said to Him, "Blessed is the womb that bore You, and the breasts which nursed You!" [28] But He said, "More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!"
What have you done with the word of God?
Some have traded it for fear.
Others have allowed it to be taken by feelings.
There are those who have even voluntarily given the word away.
Luke 8:4-5, 11-12 NKJV
“And when a great multitude had gathered, and they had come to Him from every city, He spoke by a parable: “A sower went out to sow his seed. And as he sowed, some fell by the wayside; and it was trampled down, and the birds of the air devoured it. “Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. Those by the wayside are the ones who hear; then the devil comes and takes away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.”
Nothing that is owned will remained in a good condition, unless it is well taken care of.
