Dan and Paul are both men of color who suffer from, and openly talk about their mental illnesses. The goal of this podcast is to help further destigmatize mental illness in minority communities where we’re traditionally taught to suffer in silence. It’s our hope that listeners walk away knowing that it is ok to talk about it, it’s ok to feel, it’s ok to seek help, and most importantly you’re not alone. Join us as we discuss our experiences.

Dan reiterates how awkward and drained social interactions make him feel. He talks about making a totally out of character move by recently appearing as a guest on another podcast, which he usually declines due to his severe social anxiety. Dan also talks about being struggling with 2020 and being unable to cope with any more trauma, bad news, or anything not useful. Lastly he talks about how the internet has made people extremely comfortable disrespecting people online, especially Black women, but wouldn't say anything to a man on or offline.
