Dan and Paul are both men of color who suffer from, and openly talk about their mental illnesses. The goal of this podcast is to help further destigmatize mental illness in minority communities where we’re traditionally taught to suffer in silence. It’s our hope that listeners walk away knowing that it is ok to talk about it, it’s ok to feel, it’s ok to seek help, and most importantly you’re not alone. Join us as we discuss our experiences.

Dan personally knows 6 people who have tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID19) and he has been unnecessarily in direct contact with 3 of them for about a week. He also talks about why the virus is spreading so rapidly in New Orleans and how his employer is only adding to the problem by encouraging the spread of the virus. Dan compares the feeling in New Orleans to the feeling right before Hurricane Katrina. Much like Katrina, not many people are taking a life-threatening situation seriously. People are putting our lives at risk!
