What is a life worth living? Why not give everyday people the chance to tell their stories? Most of us feel overwhelmed by the pressure that society places on each and every one of us. We keep comparing ourselves to famous celebrities or world-class athletes and then feel terrible because we can’t compare to their standards. Santiago’s A Dollar & A Dream gives the chance for everyday people to tell their stories, from their lowest points to their happiest memories. Kendrick Lamar: Season 2 Ep 13

K. Dot has 17 Grammys to his name, 29 BET Hip-Hop awards, is the only rapper EVER to win a Pulitzer Prize. He’s a generational artists to say the least. In his lyrics he talks a lot about his personal struggles growing up in Compton, like: his sex addiction, alcoholism, & poverty-stricken upbringing. Thankfully, he’s managed to overcome many of those, even having a family with his high school sweetheart, Whitney Alford. On today’s episode we’ll be talking about his musical career and what we can take away from his personal growth as well. Even though he’s on top of the world now he’s still a person, and we can learn a lot from his example.
