Some fell in the hands of unethical and irresponsible dog breeders like backyard breeders and puppy farms and mills.
In this special three-part episode series, we take a look at the Australian National Kennel Council (ANKC) as an ethical, reputable, and responsible organisation for someone to source a puppy from.
The ANKC is a private non-government body club, that is managed by everyday ordinary people who love dogs and their goal is to improve the quality of breeding and the health of dogs in general.
Episode two delves into the level of care and commitment that ANKC breeders go through to produce healthy and genetically sound puppies.
