But the story of her career and where she got to today started long before then and in an era obsessed with internet and overnight success, hers is a fascinating one. We talked cutting her own 'Rachel' haircut as a teen, the $12 mascara she claims is better than Dior's, and her funny and refreshing take on the self help genre with her second and brand new book, Help Self, out today.
