Cheetos, Snowflakes and Karens
With the US election just around the corner, the mudslinging on the campaign trail is getting personal. Smack talk before the public hits the polls is nothing new, but are we focused on valid criticism of policy or honing in on bad tans and inconvenient insects? In this ep of snowflakes gone wild, we dive into the political discourse surrounding the current nominees as well with a focus on the way we talk about political figures and the people who support them. Covering the origins of terms, the characterisation of certain groups, and how we'd feel if those labels were applied to us, we really do cover the political spectrum of pettiness. Can't we all just get along? Get in touch: dearabroadabroad@gmail.com
