In this episode, we dive deep into the nostalgic waters of 90s Nickelodeon and two iconic shows that came out in 1994 : "All That" and "The Secret World of Alex Mack."
We kick things off with "All That," the sketch comedy show that was essentially our version of "Saturday Night Live" for kids. We share our mixed feelings about the show's quality over the years, but we can't help but love the skits that gave us a good laugh, like Ask Ashley or Vital Information, and the pop culture references that kept us hooked. I think the best part about each episode though was the special musical guest!
Then, we shift gears to "The Secret World of Alex Mack," a show that featured a teenage girl with superpowers. We discuss the relatability of Alex's character, who was a tomboy yet still had a girly side, and how the show resonated with us as kids. It was a show that felt ahead of its time, breaking the mold with a strong female lead who wasn't afraid to get her hands dirty.
So, grab your orange soda and Capri Suns, and join us for this trip down memory lane. Whether you were team All That or team Alex Mack, there's something in this episode for every 90s kid at heart.

1993 seemed to be the year that was never ending - but we are finally wrapping it up with a bow just in time for the end of the year. Like all of our recaps we go back over what movies may cause Ashley to cut all known ties with Aprill over. JUST KIDDING, well, sort of. We discuss the episodes that gave us the best memories and what we look forward to next year. This means Season 2 is coming to end as well, but we will be back next year with bigger and better things as we move into 1994!
We like to keep these short and simple but we are glad you are along for the ride! Stick around to the end as we pop out our trivia games for a little more fun as we quiz each other on our 90s pop culture knowledge.

This week we venture into the world of Robin Williams and one of his most hilarious roles from the 90s -- MRS. DOUBTFIRE .
We have a lot to discuss on this one as it was a huge favorite for one of us growing up. We go into our favorite moments and how we perceived this film as a kid to how it has changed our outlook on it as an adult.
There's also so much to get into on what we would have loved for the studios to do with all of the extra footage they had from Robin Williams and his genius improvs. Like, what would an R rated version of this film look like??
Make sure you listen this week to hear our take on this classic movie of the 90s and let us know what YOUR favorite roles of Robin Williams are.

Once upon a midnight dreary
As we ponder weak and weary
Only one thought came to our minds
We have to start in on Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen
Any of their features
You're Invited, Adventures Of and their movies galore
So sit back and enjoy the ride
Cause if it's up to me
Or me
You'll RSVP
And with Halloween around the corner, what better way than to jump into DOUBLE, DOUBLE TOIL AND TROUBLE. While we know this was technically their "second" movie, it came out in 1993 (HAPPY 30TH ANNIVERSARY) and it is the perfect season to discuss this classic title of theirs.
While there are numerous Mary-Kate Olsen, and Ashley Olsen rewatch podcasts out there, we are NOT going to turn solely into that. We do love those other podcasts but our focus will still be on the 90s itself and how these two power-house girls (at the time) made an impact on our lives. We hope you enjoy CHAPTER ONE
