In episode 148 Sam is joined by filmmaker Justin Tipping, director of Him, in UK cinemas 3 October.
Justin has chosen Umberto D (89 mins). The Italian neorealist film from 1952 was directed by Vittorio De Sica, and stars Carlo Battisti, Maria-Pia Casilio, and Lina Gennari.
Sam and Justin discuss editing Him down to just 96 minutes, working with Jordan Peele, and how Italian neorealist movies changed Justin's life.
