In episode 148 Sam is joined by filmmaker Justin Tipping, director of Him, in UK cinemas 3 October.  Justin has chosen Umberto D (89 mins).  The Italian neorealist film from 1952 was directed by Vittorio De Sica, and stars Carlo Battisti, Maria-Pia Casilio, and Lina Gennari.
