Bringer of Summer, Cancer is the sign of cardinal water. It is ruled by the moon, its Tarot associations are Cups cards 2-4 and the Queen.

*Afterthought: Eliza realized she should have responded to Sarah’s question, “Why wouldn’t the third decan of Cancer be represented in the 3 of Cups card?” with the reminder that because we remove the Ace, decans 1-3 correspond to Cups cards 2-4. Then, when we are talking about fixed sign decans 1-3 they correspond to cards 5-7, and mutable ones 8-10.
