EPISODE SUMMARY:
Today we talk about the unneeded energy used trying to figure out what you don’t know. Instead of drawing instantaneous conclusions about people and events, (most of which can be negative and just plain wrong,) why not let things unfold organically and discover the truth about people over time? This takes patience and a willingness to not know everything at any given moment.
ON THIS EPISODE, WE DISCUSS…
Back to the drama conversations.
We all prejudge a person or a situation.
Dr. Pearson gives a few examples.
Luckily Dr. Pearson ignored her initial thoughts and spoke with the person and found out she was totally wrong about her thoughts.
Assuming things can cause more stress and worry than necessary.
Every time you make up a story in starts to embed itself in your mind as true, but a lot of the time you are wrong which can also cause unneeded stress.
Sometimes we pretend to be someone we are not. This too can cause unneeded stress.
What is your story? Is it true?
Pay attention to the stories you are making up about others around you.
Be patent and allow yourself to not know.
