EPISODE SUMMARY:
Dr. Pearson celebrates some learning she had from a recent flare of pain. She teaches how to stay aware, take action and don’t pretend there is nothing wrong. Putting the pieces together as to why something happened is easier than you think.
ON THIS EPISODE, WE DISCUSS…
Dr. Pearson talks about how grateful she is for her husband.
Then she tells us how she hurt her ankle while walking her dogs.
Doc should have seen someone for help, but she didn’t and later re-hurt herself.
Dr. Pearson realized that she needed to get these injuries looked at and fixed before things ended up even worse.
Once you identify where your limitation is it is easy to fix it.
It’s important to stretch into the pain but to be aware if it’s extreme pain and why that might be.
Is it possible your joint is not lined up correctly?
Should you seek professional help to get realigned?
It’s important to have a team of people that you can go to that can help you.
The longer you wait the harder it will be to recover.
Recognize that everything feeds into everything else so if you hurt yourself in one spot it can totally affect you in another area of your body.
