Vargouille Deconstruction

In this episode of 8-bit Monsters, Monster Deconstruction for D&D 5e, I deconstruct the Vargouille. Quite the interesting monster to look at with it's curse that can help repopulate the Vargouille community. If you're a DM, use that feature sparingly unless you want to spur a side-quest to save that player's character. Otherwise, the Vagouille is a very quick and straight forwards monster to look at and give battle tactics for.

New Episodes every 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd of the month!

The idea of this podcast is to break monsters down into their bare components: DCR & OCR. These two values will allow us to see how strong they are and to see where D&D got the CR values from. I'm doing this because all too often, players skip right to level 3 to avoid the hell levels and possibly end up dead. Generally, each monster is a balancing act that isn't equal to the final value.
