Ron Howard's "Hillbilly Elegy," released on Netflix in November of 2020, features incredible performances by a cast led by Amy Adams and Glenn Close (who was nominated for both an Oscar and a Razzie). But it's controversy over it's portrayal of Appalachia and the "hillbilly" marred it from he beginning. That said, Kim and Michael still watched it in honor of the annual Academy Awards, flipped a coin, and attempted to debate whether this was good or bad.
