In this episode, Allen and Russ talk about their experiences in the military. They share stories about their training, their deployments, and their proudest moments. Allen joined the military in May of 1985 and Russ in November of 1985. Both served in different branches of the military, but they both experienced the challenges and rewards of military service. Allen deployed to Kuwait during Desert Storm and Russ deployed multiple times to Panama, Saudi Arabia and Iraq. Both saw combat, and they both witnessed the horrors of war. But they also saw the bravery and sacrifice of their fellow soldiers, and they both came away from their service with a deep sense of pride. Allen and Russ are both grateful for the opportunity to have served their country, and they're proud of the sacrifices they made.
