
Africa is now just a few milliseconds away from Amazon's cloud. Since 2015 Africa has been served by a small zone in Johannesburg, South Africa. Today, Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced the launch of new AWS locations serving customers in Kenya. The new zones will join 16 existing AWS regions around the world. As we know AWS host a lot of big companies data. This includes big game publishers like EA and epic games But what does this mean for Kenyan and African gamers. Should we expect game publishers to launch game servers in the country?
